A few years ago, I was asked why I don't paint a realistic painting of our local covered bridge. He told me I would make a lot more money if I did. This man did not like my style of painting nor did he have a back ground in art. I was really getting a lot of advice about how to paint when I moved here.
I was so moved by this advice that I did a completely Abstract version of our local covered bridge, in Jackson,NH. I hope you like it, Notice the detail of the type of boards used for the bridge. Painting was inspired by fellow painter, Mary Howe.
