When I first arrived in Portsmouth downtown, I traveled past the bakery from Kittery onto the bridge. There on the right was this light grey fishing hut with the most beautiful buoys I had ever seen. When it is humid and hot, this hot pink sky covers the horizon. It took a long time to develop a palette knife stroke to be able to abstract the buoys, it worked!! This piece is the most abstract and unknown of this set of paintings of the fishing hut. The painter, Diebenkorn and Hockney have been mentioned about this piece.
