This expansive landscape is a vibrant painting. The clouds are touching the edge of the mountains leaving a soft edge. The fall orange and red trees dress the mid part of the mountains. The palette is an expressive and bold. These are mountains from the Washington Valley region. This is my favorite composition of the mountains during foliage. It is as if you are hiking to the top of a mountain, yet you are half way there. It is the spot where you look at the view, and say Beautiful….
