Alpenglow on Mount Washington is a fleeting, vibrant reddish-pink glow that illuminates the snow-covered peaks after sunset or before sunrise. This phenomenon is caused by sunlight scattering off atmospheric particles and ice crystals, filtering out the blue and green light and leaving behind the red and pink hues.

Alpenglow is a master class in color fields of pinks, and cool blue landscapes. I have never been so inspired as with these landscapes on mount Washington!
