Alpenglow is indirect sunlight reflected by the atmosphere after sunset or before sunrise. This illumination creates soft shadows that are beautiful pinks layered over the mountains. The deep pink colors only come out for a flash of fifteen minutes or so, It is a rare moment in the landscape to see.

A cold winter day with the glowing of the pink Alpenglow is nostalgic. Th large snowflakes falling down on the frozen lake is beautiful..
