This painting is part of my fascination of pink houses..

The image of a floating house captures the real threat of rising sea levels and severe coastal flooding on local New England communities. Severe winter storms, like the high-tide floods that hit Hampton Beach, submerge streets and surround coastal homes with water, making buildings look like they are drifting out to sea. Water levels during peak storms have exceeded 13 feet, turning dry roads into deep channels.
