High-value or Rising Local Artist

In May 2024, Fidelity Investments in Boston selected 16 of my paintings for their corporate fund. Until then, I had no idea major financial institutions acquired local artwork as a serious investment asset. It’s an interesting intersection of corporate strategy and creative support—and a massive win for contemporary artists.

While banks don't typically buy art directly, their wealth management divisions frequently give high-net-worth clients access to specialized art investment funds. Curated by industry experts, these funds pool capital to buy, manage, and eventually sell high-value or rising local art for future appreciation. It turns out the financial world sees the true value of art—both on the wall and on the balance sheet.
